Thanks to a research
and development grant from Forcast Public
Artworks, I will start work on a
new project in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area parks system this spring.
In this project I will return to large scale woodcut prints, cut and printed
from the tops of picnic tables.

Theater De La Jeune Lune has created
a new summer music series called Music on the Moon. I and some friends
will be sharing a multi-faceted evening this SATURDAY, AUGUST 2nd as part
of this new series, which you really should not miss! It is open to all
ages and there is also a bar open for those of you 21+ers!

Opening the show will be eclectic guitarist/singer songwriter Bill Mike.
Bill
Mike has performed with many Minneapolitans like IFFY, ANTHONY COX, LOVE
CARS, and ROBERT SKORO, but now has also ventured into a solo career.
Fans of adventuresome rock/pop music like the Flaming Lips, Radiohead,
and Bjork will love

Following Bill Mike will be the all-star collaboration of George Cartwright,
Jacqueline Ferrier-Ultan, Michelle Kinney and Alden Ikeda. George, Jacqueline
and Michelle play together in Anthony Cox's Regional Ensemble, and will
be joined on Saturday with Alden Ikeda. Each of these artists has performed
extensively in a wide range of musical ventures and on Saturday they will
come together to draw you into their world of free jazz, rock, and other
musical landscapes.
AND...Be sure to look 'up' for AERIALIST, MEG EMERY who will be spinning
and entertaining with her tricks of the trade!
To cap off the night be sure to hang around for some dancin' to the sounds
of DJ MINDFLUXThere will be a special guest list for those of you who
